Malabar Gold & Diamonds Actively Participated in UAE National Sports Day Conducted by MOH, Ajman

As an appreciation for the active participation of Malabar Gold & Diamonds CSR Team in the program, Mr. Hamza KS, Manager – CSR, Malabar Gold & Diamonds received a memento of appreciation from Mr. Ahmed Tariyam Al Shamsi, Director, M. O.H. Ajman and Dr. Moona Al Shamsi, Asst Director, M.O.H. Ajman.

The UAE National Sports Day was celebrated with colourful events including horse rides, bicycles rides and March pasts by different group of students and associations. Doctors and Health Instructors explained the value of healthy lifestyle and well-being in various awareness speeches delivered at the program.

Since its inception in 1993, Malabar Group has been actively involved in CSR activities with the aim of creating a difference to the community in and around their area of operations. The importance of CSR activities for Malabar Group has grown over the decades and the group sets aside a fixed percentage of its net profit for the benefit of the needy in the respective markets it operates in. They undertake social welfare activities all year long, focusing on five priority areas such medical, educational sector, environment as well as housing and women empowerment.
