Qatar- Her Highness Sheikha Moza graces FTA Prize ceremony

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, honorary chair of Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), attended the inaugural FTA Prize ceremony and dinner at Doha Fire Station last evening. In attendance at the celebratory event were co-chair of FTA HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and founder of Fashion Trust in the UK Tania Fares, QNA reported.

A jury of fashion industry leaders from across the world gathered to select five Arab designers in categories such as eveningwear, ready-to-wear, jewellery, and shoes and bags. Her Highness awarded one of the five prizes of the night to Lebanese designer Krikor Jabotian in the evening wear category. Other winners, who will receive financial rewards and mentorship opportunities, include Sabry Marouf in the handbags category, Zyne for shoes, Mukhi Sisters for jewellery, with Salim Azzam and Roni Helou tying in the ready-to-wear segment.
