Saudi Princess Nourah Al-Faisal’s brand Nuun Jewels revitalizes Asprey’s Feather collection
The Asprey x Nuun Feather Collection comprises 13 customisable pieces in various colours and metal combinations
RIYADH — British luxury brand Asprey has unveiled a reimagined version of its iconic Feather Jewelry Collection, in collaboration with Saudi Princess Nourah Al-Faisal, the founder of Nuun Jewels. This new collection marks the second phase of their partnership, following a successful capsule collection of bags released in July 2023.
Princess Nourah, known for her innovative designs, has breathed new life into Asprey’s historic feather motifs. “I approached this collection with the intent to revitalize Asprey’s renowned feather designs,” Princess Nourah told Arab News. “I aimed to honor the original while incorporating a sense of playfulness and modernity that aligns with my brand’s ethos.”
The Feather collection originally drew inspiration from royal heraldry, featuring designs reminiscent of the feathers on the Prince of Wales’s heraldic badge. The reimagined collection by Princess Nourah introduces a fresh perspective with coloured titanium and an array of gemstones, including pink sapphires, morganite, and pastel yellow diamonds. Her signature use of vibrant colours and innovative materials is evident throughout the collection.
“By exploring unexpected colour combinations and materials, I’ve aimed to create pieces that feel both fresh and timeless,” Princess Nourah said, “There’s a subtle Art Deco influence balanced with the contemporary style of Nuun Jewels.”
The Asprey x Nuun Feather Collection, comprising 13 customisable pieces in various colours and metal combinations, exemplifies a fusion of tradition and innovation. Asprey’s chairman, John Rigas, highlighted the collection as a testament to both Princess Nourah’s visionary creativity and Asprey’s commitment to blending excellence with innovation.
“This collection not only highlights Princess Nourah’s artistic vision but also reflects Asprey’s dedication to advancing beauty through both innovation and heritage,” Rigas commented.
A standout piece, a statement necklace, is set to be revealed in 2025, further enhancing the allure of this unique collaboration.
